Tidur Di Airport? Siapa Takut!


Sewaktu di boarding room terminal 3 Sukarno Hatta, nyokap gue ngeliat sepasang bule yang lagi tidur di atas bangku di pojok ruangan? Spontan nyokap nanya: "kamu kalau backpackeran, begitu juga ya?" Hehehe...sebagai seorang backpacker wannabe, tidur di airport adalah salah satu hal yang mau ga mau harus gw hadapi.

Banyak alasan yang menyebabkan gue memilih tidur di airport. Pertama karena pesawat yang gue tumpangi mendarat di airport terlalu malam, sementara angkutan umum yang ada di kota itu baru beroperasi keesokan harinya. Daripada memaksakan diri untuk naik taksi, yang pastinya mahal, gue memilih untuk  tidur sebentar di airport.

Kedua adalah karena transit, menunggu penerbangan berikutnya, yang akan terbang besok pagi. Nah, kalau ini, mau ga mau mesti nunggu di airport. Sebenernya di bandara tersedia hotel transit, yang bisa disewa beberapa jam saja. Tapi...harganya lumayan mahal.

Pertanyaan yang banyak ditanyakan ke gue adalah: emang enak tidur di airport? emang aman? emang ga takut barangnya ilang? emang ga diusir?

Kalau soal nyaman, udah pasti lebih nyaman di hotel. Di airport yang paling bagus sekalipun, ga ada kasur untuk tempat tidur para transiter. Di awal gue sempet susah tidur, karena ketidaknyamanan itu. Tapi setelah beberapa kali tidur di airport, tubuh dan otak tidur gue makin bisa mentolelir keadaan apapun.

Kalau soal aman, tergantung airportnya. Kota-kota yang tingkat keamanannya tinggi, biasanya airportnya juga aman. Gue juga mempertimbangkan ini sebelum tidur di airport. Kalau kotanya dirasa nggak aman, ya gue ga akan memaksakan diri. Gue lebih rela mengeluarkan uang untuk bayar jemputan dari penginapan atau taksi ketimbang kehilangan barang-barang berharga.

Selama ini, udah 4 airport yang udah gue inepin, yaitu KLIA (Kuala Lumpur Int Airport), LCCT (di Kuala Lumpur), Changi Airport di Singapura, dan Incheon Airport di Seoul. Gue jabarain ya satu2, pengalaman gue tidur di 4 tempat itu.

LCCT
Karena selalu pake Airasia, gue sering banget mendarat di LCCT. Beberapa kali sampe malam hari, tapi gue selalu nginep di Tune Hotel yang deket bandara, karena harganya pas promo. Nah, suatu ketika, gue mesti berlama-lama di sini karena pesawat gue berikutnya akan terbang jam 5 pagi.

Kalau mau jujur, LCCT ini sebenernya bukan tempat yang asyik buat bermalam. Di sana gak ada bangku panjang yang empuk.

Itenerary Korea Selatan

Banyak banget yang nanya soal cerita di Korea Selatan. Tapi berhubung detlen yang terus menerus menerpa, maaf banget tulisan itu lom bisa kebuat. Nah, sebagai gantinya, gue tulis aja ya itenerary selama berada di sana. Itenerary ini dibuat oleh temen gue Keshie (gue kali ini ga bantuin bikin sama sekali). Ada beberapa perubahan ketika di lapangan, misalnya aja ga sengaja kita menemukan ada festival lampion di Seoul, terus ga jadi ke beberapa tempat karena ga keburu. 

Tapi secara garis besar, ini bisa jadi panduan buat yang pengen pergi ke sana. Cekidot guys...
